Good time

The Mumbai Indians lost their second consecutive match to the Chennai SuperKings . Now, I didn't think that they really stood a chance against the Chennai team; the team has a pretty impressive line-up with the likes of Matthew Hayden, Mike Hussey, Muralitharan and M S Dhoni. The team has an interesting balance of international players and the local boys of Chennai.
Mumbai had to chase 209 runs and the game seemed to be in Chennai's hands, till Harbhajan Singh and Abhishek Nayar bridged the gap between the balls remaining and runs needed. The game went up to the last over and it made for an interesting match.
Missing in action, was Sachin Tendulkar, due to injury. Maybe he couldn't play but he should have atleast been there at the dug-out and cheer his team on (The Mumbai Cheerleaders are a sad lot anyway).

The MTV ticker today, really had me cracking, unlike on most days: "In fond memory of Sachin's 35th birthday."
