Annunciation

After months of hardwork, I take pleasure in announcing that I have finally mastered the art of ambidexerity. The only fact that I admire about Amitabh Bachchan is that he is ambidextrous, which is what inspired me to practise. Otherwise AB senior is just another human-being and it beats me how people tend to worship him the way they do.

(the statement is not meant to offend anybody, it is just how i feel)

NTSE

I just came back after giving my NTS exam. On an average, it was ok, but I had expected it to be better than that because, this wasn't the first time I gave the exam. I was in the 3rd grade when I first gave this exam and it had been really easy. I stood third in the state level and was felicitated in front of some of the most brilliant scholars of the state. It was transcendent. (It is ok to be pompous at times!)

This time, however, MAT (Mental Aptitude Test) was easy, but it takes time. So I ran out of time and some of the last questions were just wild guesses as the question paper was taken away. But SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test), which I had expected, to be easy, was a disaster. In SAT, Chemistry is my forte so it was the saving grace. Biology was ok, Physics was appalling, Economics was atrocious and Mathematics- abysmal. But that was ok ‘cause I didn’t have to answer any of the Math questions. In fact, I didn’t even read some of the questions; they looked scary. There was this guy who was really considerate, he helped us all with Math. In other words, he told us all the answers and our obnoxious invigilator didn’t even bother to stop us. He actually encouraged us. All that he said was that he thought that this was the norm only in the govt.-aided schools. He needed to be brought back in touch with reality, so we helped him. ;-)

As for the rest of the subjects, what can I say; my instincts and my wisdom were the only potencies that helped me answer the exam. I am anticipating the outcome, even though, I am not very optimistic about my performance.:-(
But that’s ok, no point lamenting over spilt potion, you get what you deserve, and I hadn’t practiced after all. I should’ve.

MY GENRE OF ROCK

Nirvana
Grunge! You're all about the music and would even
turn your back on fame just to stay true to
your roots... You reached your high in the
early '90s, but you're still making some good
stuff! Keep rocking!

What genre of rock are you?
