Prince of Kurukshetra

A 4 year old kid by the name Prince...something... fell into a 60 feet deep pit.
It amazes me the amount of media attention this incident got. But it was an unusual situation, so I was hooked. It was funny at times. Some news channels went out of the way to cover this story, one of the news channels played the national anthem in the background in a really tear-jerking tune. Another channel was asking random people about their opinions (???). So this woman goes like "Mujhe to Prince bhagwaan Krishna ka roop lagta hai". *hehe*

But what mainly caught my attention was the boy's attitude. He did weep occasionally but the calmness with which he spent most of his 49 hours down there seemed positively outlandish! Like he was thinking.. "They'll probably figure it out soon...yeah...aah, there comes the chocloates... I need some water.... sheesh these people are slow... how long does it take to get a kid out...nup, it doesn't look good...*sniff*....PAANI BHEJO!!!... kuch bhi peene ka..."

Rescue officials said he showed outstanding survival instincts. But I think it was because of the fact that he was only 4. No tension! Any adult would have died coz of the worry...

Good going Prince!

I blog, therefore I am...

Much to the annoyance of all bloggers, the Indian Govt. had blocked all blogs for some weird reason. See, people post all kindsa stuff in their blogs and apparantly it helped 'em terrorists in some way. Dawg! terrorists are master minds, they don't need blogs to execute their plans... anyway, am glad its back... am glad I can blog again... chalo, ab sab apna apna blog update karo!

p.s.- Avantika, Satan thinks you are katti with him...lolzz

I saw it coming... :-(

You Are 100% Selfish
It's all about you, all the time... even when it really shouldn't be about you.In your opinion, the world should revolve around you. And you won't compromise on anything... out of principle!

On a day like today...

... me and Avantika decided to got o NCERT office to get some books that wern't available in all the shops, but it turned out that its closed on Saturday's. No Snapshots.
But we were in a mood to go out anyway, so we went to the Sahara Mall in Gurgaon. Bhai and Ruddhi also came along, so we treated them to lunch. Then after some shopping [Tantra rocks!], all of us climbed up and down the escalator 5 times!!! (Don't remember doing that since I was 7) *I know what a thing-and-a-half to do, but it was fun!*
Then on our way back home, at a traffic signal, we stared at this person for 5 minutes to determine what gender it was but it seemed to fancy its stearing wheel so much that it never looked up and we never found out...
Then back in our colony, where the people are kinda used to our antics, Avantika sat behind me on her bicycle while I rode it and she seemed really scared (the bike).
Sajal got pissed with us because we didn't tell him the super-secret. :(
Then later, while we were walking, I poured icy cold water down her unannounced. On an impulse, she shouted out the f-word a bit too loudly and this old uncle giggled down at us.
Then after like 5 rounds, deaf, blind, yellow tee'd Manik finally heard us shouting at him and told us about SAT.
Then we fought over who was going to put all this up on their blog first. Subsequently, when we were leaving, I threw a bottle of Gatorade at her.

P.S. : Sorry JEM, didn't mean to ruin your monkey walk. *BA-NA-NA*
Kal NCERT chalenge, OK?

The fun element from life is gone....... zilch!

"I tell you to enjoy life I wish I could but its too late
Can you help me?
Thought you were my friend
Whoah yeah!"

Rachit, hmm, he hasn't changed much, except a little bit... ea... but mostly he is just as I had known him pehle... heh! (",)

Bonjour!

I changed my subjects from PCM with Economics to PCM with Computer science, so right now I am in the most studious class in the entire school. Classes XIth- C and XIIth-C are supposed to be like the havens for the budding engineers.

Its almost fantastic how right from the start of the day till recess and then again after recess till school gets over we keep studying the entire time. When a class gets over, the previous teacher overshoots the time and the next one is already waiting outside. So the 20 minute respite during the recess is deeply cherished by each one of us.

But the irony of the whole thing is how much we enjoy our classes! Like there's this guy who reminds me of Ryan Oberoi from Five Point Someone, keeps the class entertained with his silly but thought-provoking queries... which lead to pretty interesting dicussions at times.

Also, after like three years, me and my one-time best friend are in the same class again, so it was great catching up with him after so long.
Science is over-whelming and blurred in parts, also seems like a hoax at times, but its kinda cool.

Looking forward to two great recreational years ahead!

*fun fun*

ciao everyone!
