Jessica Lal Murder case

A lot has come into surface, after the acquittal of all nine accused in the Jessica Lal murder case. Everyone has been rather prompt at voicing their opinions. Personally I think the judicial system has been made the scapegoat of all the police's slackness of duty. The judiciary is not corrupt, the verdict is made on the basis of the proofs and witnesses. There has been injustice, that is certain, but it is because of the inadequate security for the eye-witnesses and there is also some news about the evidence being tampered with. So for justice to prevail, we need to start from the scratch, i.e. get rid of the corruption in the nation.

Global Warming? No problem!

Thursday, March 02, 2006

I gave my first Board Examination today, it was pretty good.
SST, the paper was easy(!), except, I'm not sure about two of the questions, one of them was about NAM, and the other was in the map.
Also, i hadn't paid much attention to Disaster Management, so tackling Flood and causes of Landslide were posers.
I got the map wrong, marked Thiruvananthapuram as Kochi.
Nevermind! On the whole, it was atleast better than what I had expected!
Came back and saw The Terminal and dozed off to sleep.
Have Introductory Information Technology in another three days, but I wont start studying for it until Sunday, 8 p.m., will do Math instead!

P.S.- I hate my centre for the Examination.
